How XAGO began

XAGO began with a search. Neha always loved wearing stone jewellery, but could never find pieces she truly wanted. On a family trip to Jaipur, wandering through the old markets, she fell for the stones, just not the designs. So she began drawing her own and went looking for karigars who could make them.

Nandini, ready to build something of her own, joined her. Together they walked the lanes of Jaipur, finding the right karigars and vendors for every detail. They still do.

Neither went to design school. Every XAGO piece is simply something they would wear themselves: traditional, modern and everything in between.

Hand-set by master karigars

Every piece is made by our karigars in Jaipur, stone by stone, not machine-stamped. Moissanite polki and kundan work for our heritage pieces. Natural stones such as jade, onyx, labradorite and lapis, natural and shell pearls, and CZ stones and Swarovski crystals where a design calls for extra brilliance.

Honest about what's inside

A brass or silver base, 22k gold plating, and a double lacquer finish that protects the shine from tarnish. We tell you exactly what each piece is made of, so you never have to guess. Fine-jewellery finishing, without fine-jewellery pricing.
